We’ve received a lodging request for perhaps six months in association with a 7-year-old boy with leukemia who was transferred to CHOP. I am especially motivated to help them as 35 years ago, I had leukemia and was an in-patient for 5 months at Sloan-Kettering. It cost our family $55,000 in today’s dollars for my wife, mother and two toddler children to stay at a hotel nearby.
