Dear Parkway community:
Please note two special events this weekend that will affect the Parkway area. Full details are noted below along with two maps showing the event routes. Additionally, mark your calendars for this coming Thursday evening (October 10) for the JPMorgan Corporate Challenge, which will take place on Eakins Oval and Kelly Drive. The City will be releasing a full press release on that event, which I will circulate early next week as soon as it is available.
I also wanted to point you to two newish resources that the Office of Special Events has developed. You can now find a listing of all upcoming permitted road closures here: https://www.phila.gov/departments/office-of-special-events/events/upcoming-special-event-road-closures. This listing will be added to daily on a rolling basis. Additionally, OSE has a revamped weekly newsletter with information on upcoming events. You can sign up for the newsletter here: https://mailchi.mp/b70a1446cc67/special-event-updates.
