Kindly note that LSNA is NOT sponsoring a Tree Recycling event this year due to low participation the last few years.
The City of Philadelphia has a process in place for tree disposal and recycling. See the City’s full directions for tree disposal/recycling including a list of recycling drop-off sites and community collection events here.
Basically, the City of Philadelphia offers the following:
Philadelphia residents may dispose of their live Christmas trees curbside or recycle them. Trees placed curbside will be taken by the City as trash instead of being composted.
If you’d like to recycle your tree, you can:
- Take it to a City-run drop-off site.
- Take it to a community collection event.
- Arrange for pick-up services.
